Art and Design

This week in art, we will be continuing with the awesome Anglo-Saxon rune work you were doing last week. The change this week is that I would like you to try and create your Anglo-Saxon runes in different materials! Now, I know it might be tricky to get hold of some clay but have no fear, mud is a great substitute!

Try carving your runes into mud, wood or stone! If carving is too tricky, you can always try painting them!

WARNING: Any activity that requires you to carve, you must have an adult's permission! (don't get me into trouble!). Please make sure that an adult knows what you are using to carve and you are doing so in a safe, sensible manner!

I look forward to seeing all of your interesting creations!
