Welcome to all of the Class 5 Community (and any other visitors to the page), I hope that you are all keeping well, busy and safe by staying at home. If any pupils or parents are struggling, please don't hesitate to drop me a message or an email. Maybe a quick phone call from a listening ear could help.
Have a look through our webpage to ensure you understand the format for TERM 5 and try to dip into ClassDojo regularly - we will be using this across the Federation from now on to both communicate and share work.
The Avon & Somerset Constabulary have set up a poster competition for children across the county. Have a look at the link below. They are asking children at all their local schools to design a poster encouraging members of the public to #StayHomeSaveLives and how to stay safe during the pandemic and lockdown. Could your poster be selected to go all over their Facebook and Twitter feeds? DEADLINE - 22nd MAY
The challenge this week, if you're up for it, is to learn one of Rachel Rooney's poems off by heart and recite it to someone you know over the phone to put a smile on their face! OR you could perform it and send us all a video on ClassDojo!
We have used our suspended curriculum fortnight to focus on saving the planet and, more specifically, RUBBISH! We had no idea how much is actually sent to landfill and how much more effort we could put into: Reusing, Reducing and Recycling. As a result, Class 5 will be reopening the much missed School Thrift Shop some time this term.
