MONDAY AFTERNOON'S LESSON
This week is recapping Adverbs, Adverbial Phrases and Fronted Adverbials. It is important for us to be able to distinguish between each of them and know how to use them appropriately to modify sentences.
We'll go through the Powerpoint together to make sure you are confident on the difference between the two and have a go at some of the questions.
Your task is to modify clauses using either abverbs, adverbial phrases or fronted adverbials. There are multiple different answers for each but reread what you have written to check it makes sense.
Once you have completed the task, there is also a fronted adverbial matching game to play afterwards to apply what you have recapped.
