FRIDAY MORNING'S LESSON
This is our first Science lesson on Electricity this week.
In our Zoom, I'll go through the Powerpoint, but we will look at what is electricity and where it comes from this week. You need to complete the first task during the Zoom and the second task afterwards.
Task 1
- Create a mind map to show what you already know about Electricity. Think about where electricity comes from, how switches work, which materials allow electricity to flow through them and some items that use electricity to work.
Task 2
- Imagine you are electricity experts! A TV channel have asked you to narrate a presentation to teach children about where our electricity comes from. Use the Electricity Experts Sheet to help you plan and write your narration.
CHALLENGE QUESTION: What would life be like without electricity? Think about school life as well as your home life.
