FRIDAY MORNING'S LESSON

 

For our Science lesson on Electricity this week, we will look at Appliances and the types of electricity they use.

 

In our Zoom, as I go through the Powerpoint, I would like you to consider which electrical and non-electrical appliances you have in your home. You need to complete the first task during the Zoom and the second task afterwards. 

 

Task 1

  • Sort the Appliance cards into those that use electricity and those that don't. Take a photo once you have completed to sorting them. 

 

Task 2

  • Complete the Mains or Battery Activity sheet where you will sort appliance by the type of electricity they use.

 

CHALLENGE QUESTION: Do we use more appliances that use mains or batteries? Why do you think this is?
