Welcome to the Sandford Primary Sport Page!

Sport and physical activity plays a vital role in children's development. We at Sandford Primary School ensure that our children are given many opportunities to experience a wide range of sporting activities to ensure they have to best experience of physical activity possible.

At Sandford, we love to celebrate all the successes that our children have both in and out of school. Find below our amazingly talented children who have been successful in their extra-curricular activities this term.

PE and Sport Premium

NSSPEA

We are part of the North Somerset Schools PE Association (NSSPEA). This gives us access to a wide variety of competitions and fixtures within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We also aim to give as many children as possible the opportunity to represent the school during their time at Sandford. We are always very proud of their achievements and enthusiasm for participation.

Niamh's gymnastics success!

Over the summer, our very own Niamh competed at the British Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics and won gold! Her superb performance was capped with a PB of 17.80 and Execution score of 8.8! Huge congratulations to a very talented young lady!
