King Alfred the Great
This week, we are going to focusing on a pretty good king....well maybe a better than pretty good king, a great king! He is one of the only rulers in British history to be called 'great' so he must be pretty cool! King Alfred the Great was a very important Anglo-Saxon king and his rule changed England and the wider British Isles forever! Plus, he helped fight off those pesky Vikings (jeez, Class 4!).
Your task today is to find out as much as you can about King Alfred the Great and present your information! You can choose to present your information in anyway you choose. Some ideas could be to create a poster, a leaflet, a detailed portrait, a PowerPoint, a poem, a story etc.
