Over the next couple of weeks we are using the skills we have been practising to make moving parts for our "Dear Zoo" books. Each page will have a lift the flap, slider or pop-up mechanism to reveal the object in our stories.
Reception & Year 1
We will also be using moving mechanism techniques to make Christmas cards. You can experiment with ideas and make your own Christmas card using one of the mechanisms. If you haven't looked already, use the video links on the previous weeks' Art/DT tabs to get some ideas of how the mechanisms work. Try some ideas out before making your own Christmas card.
