W.B. 6th July

Hello everyone!

I have been so impressed with all the fantastic pieces of work handed into Class Dojo and emailed to me! You guys have been really putting in the effort at home, especially with your balanced arguments! Great job!

This week, the focus is going to be 'Mammoths' and 'Stone Age Food'. Mammoths were a hugely significant part of Stone Age life and were used for many things. Your task is to research mammoths and create a museum exhibit which tells everyone all about the mammoth! You can be as creative as you'd like!

Hint: Mammoths were enormous! So you might want to think about creating an exhibit to match!

You will also be focusing on Stone Age food this week. Unfortunately for Stone Age humans, they couldn't just pop down the shops whenever they felt like it! See what you can find out about Stone Age food: how did they make it? What did they cook? How did they hunt? Maybe even try your hand at Stone Age cooking?

I have also uploaded two chapters of How to Skin a Bear this week as I am aware that the end of term is fast approaching! Feel free to read through it at your own pace and there is a reading comprehension to complete as well.

I hope you all have a great week and I look forward to seeing you all on the Zoom calls and perhaps even in school on the 15th July!

Cheers

Mr. Awesome Hall
