This week is all about the Benin bronzes and what the Europeans thought about the art they discovered in Benin. Watch the recorded lesson and write your answers into your home learning books.

 

If you want to do a little bit more, why not research: Why the people of Benin were so good at making bronze. Where did they learn to do this? Where did the copper and tin come from? Does it compare with bronze from Bronze Age Britain or Shang China?
