Year 1 - The Seasons
This term we are going to be learning about the seasons and the weather connected with them. We will also be finding out about parts of the Earth that are hot and cold.
This week watch the powerpoint below to give you an introduction to the seasons and the types of weather that characterise them and some of the types of activity associated with them.
Once you have watched the powerpoint try out the activities. The first one is a sorting activity where you need to cut out and place the items on the season most associated with it. The second one is a chart of the four seasons. In each box try to draw something to represent the weather in the season and any activity that happens in the season - if you can write a label or caption.
